This beautiful room was originally used as a library by attorney Bohan P. Field. It is located on the first floor at the back of the house and has a beautiful view of the Harbor View House gardens and the Belfast Harbor beyond.  Enjoy the comings and goings of Belfast's historic tugboats!

On cool evenings, guests can sit in the room's wing-back chair by the fire and plan the next day's activities.  The built-in shelves and cabinetry now house a TV/VCR and drawers for guest use, as well as a collection of books for browsing. The private bath has a lovely, deep, claw-footed tub for quiet, relaxing baths (or brisk showers).

This room also includes access to a semi-private deck (accessed from the main hall). Here, guests in the Field room can relax with their morning coffee or afternoon tea while drinking in the beauty of Belfast Harbor and Penobscot Bay beyond.
